Hopefully this is in the right subforum. I just got this installed over the weekend and love it. Install took awhile for an intake because they had me cut the IAT sensor and extend it. This is going to go great with my cam/heads in the spring.

This is what came in the kit.

Dont mind the dirty engine bay or my missing underhood kit ;)

Your in the right spot. looks sweet! question, did you have any issues with the filter hitting and making it difficult to install? my filter was damaged, just to damn tight.

I kinda rubbed the filter when i was shoving it through that small opening. Once i had my hands in there i just had a friend pull the tube out a little so i can get it aligned. If i wasnt so lazy i could of jacked up the car and put the filter on with no problems.

yeah, i jacked up my hand when i installed mine and everytime i clean the filter. i just turned the wheel hard right to gain easier access.

Julio, your disgusting coolant tank is low on coolant .....

These intakes look cool and I'm sure give better air than underhood "cold-air" intake kits, but I've never been a fan of low-mounted air intakes ... too afraid of water ingestion ...

I was just in the rain right now but too lazy to check the filter. Im actually worried about hitting a bump in the road and having the filter fall off.

Personally I wouldn't worry about it falling off... I've had my filter installed in that location for 12 months now with no problems.

Do you have a predator with your CAI? Curious to know what kind of difference it makes just on it's own without a performance program...being that it is a true CAI compared to your old Mopar intake.
